Are you prepared to return to Pandora? The third movie in James Cameron’s epic sci-fi franchise has revealed its full title finally. It’s Avatar: Hearth and Ash . It hits theaters virtually precisely three years after 2022’s Avatar: The Way of Water, opening December 19, 2025.
Sorry to anybody who was holding out hope that a certain previously dismissed title (The Seed Bearer) would find yourself making the minimize. However Hearth and Ash makes extra sense for the third Avatar movie, given what we find out about it up to now.

In 2023, Cameron said that after half two’s aquatic adventures, a special factor could be getting a focus partly three: “Hearth has a symbolic goal within the movie and there’s a tradition that’s particularly round that idea … You’re going to fulfill two utterly new [Na’vi] cultures within the subsequent movie. One other element we learned back in 2023 is that Sport of Thrones alum Oona Chaplin can be enjoying a personality named “Varang,” the chief of a Na’vi fire clan referred to as the “Ash Folks,” who dwell in Pandora’s volcanic area.
After Avatar 3, there are at least two more installments coming in 2029 and 2031, and possibly even past.
